Weekly Blog Wednesday's #1: Talking Names and Challenges

Hello everyone and welcome to Weekly Blog Wednesday's,

Today we have a massive announcement England have won the world cup... (Jokes). Actually we have spent hours and hours on end discussing the name for pi wars 2019. We have seen that the competition is space themed and based it on that. The name was very well thought out and the name is Wilfs rover Andromedea, We will base the robot as a mars rover and Andromedea will be the special element of the masterpiece which we will release in a further date. As the blog showing apart of our journey I will give updates of everything which happens and I have been privileged to count down the final 10 days before the major event and to give you behind the scenes access to all the mayhem. I am also lucky to be blogging throughout the day of pi wars 2019 with Tyler and later on that day with the verdict blog. So with 192 days to go and 4 days before the applications close we have sent our application and will be truly thankful to do another year of planing and preparing the robot. We will find out if we have made it on 30 September.

This years challenges are as followed:

Autonomous

-Asteroid Field: the Maze

-Blast Off: the Straight-ish Line Speed Test

Remote controlled

-Space Invaders

-Spirit of Curiosity

-The Apollo 13 Obstacle Course

Other

There is also many other ways to get involved like spectating or helping out. This year we have learnt from our mistakes and have analysed the challenges to make no mistakes.
