Design Blog #3 : Sensors added electronics wired and minor failures

Hi guys

Its time for another update on the robot from the last blog up until now so with the wheels attached and the steering fixed from the last blog Ben and I started working on the code and have spent a couple of weeks along with Miss Heal working on the code. So Ben came round one weekend to help wire the robot up and make sure the sensors were working. At first we only had the pi camera code sort of working, the maze code making the robot keep crashing and reversing into a wall and the line following code making the robot drive in a straight line instead of following the line. Unfortunately our raspberry pi 3B+ that we won last year died somehow from an unknown short circuit somewhere and killed the 3v3 power rail. Apparently the 3B+ is easier to kill then the other pi`s so to avoid the risk of killing another pi we used a regular 3B and will be bringing a spare one to pi wars just in case anything happens. So all we need to do now is tweak the programs which we will hopefully do in the next few weeks and add a sound system so the robot can speak.
